We know there’s nothing quite like the thrill of tracking down a rare pair of kicks — especially when it’s a shoe as bold and iconic as the Nike Air Uptempo. Over the years, this silhouette has made waves with some incredible collaborations and limited releases that have collectors and fans scrambling to snag a pair.
Curious about the
list? Let’s take a closer look at the best
Nike Air Uptempo collaborations
that have left sneaker lovers buzzing.
Nike Air Uptempo x Supreme (2017)
The Nike Air More
Uptempo became “legendary” when Pippen wore it during the Chicago Bulls’ 1996
championship run.
In 2017, Supreme
gave the 90s classic a bold new twist by replacing the signature “Air”
lettering with their own “Supreme” branding, a move that’s rare for Nike
collaborations. The updated design comes in three distinct colorways: Red,
Black, and Gold.
Nike Air Uptempo x Kith (2016)
To honor the 20th
anniversary of Scottie Pippen debuting the Olympic edition of the Nike Air More
Uptempo in 1996, Kith partnered with Nike for a celebratory release. Exclusive
pairs of the Olympic Air More Uptempo, featuring special packaging, were made
available at Kith’s Manhattan and Brooklyn locations.
The first 96
customers at each store, a nod to the shoe’s 1996 debut, received a ticket to
an exclusive event with Scottie Pippen at Kith Brooklyn on July 23rd. To top it
off, these lucky sneakerheads also walked away with a limited-edition Nike Air
More Uptempo cap.
Nike Air More
Uptempo x Patta Chlorophyll (2024)
To mark 20 years
of Patta’s legacy, Nike and the Dutch brand dropped an exclusive rerelease of
the sought-after Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Chlorophyll.
Staying true to
its roots, the refreshed design mirrors the original while adding subtle modern
updates. The Chlorophyll and Matte Silver colorway is as iconic, with the
custom Patta tongue label serving as a nod to the brand’s influence within
sneaker culture.
Nike x Ambush
(2023)
Nike and AMBUSH
have teamed up once again to give the Air More Uptempo a fresh twist,
reimagining the classic silhouette as a low top. The iconic bubble letters
stand out in a sleek black finish with crisp white outlines, perfectly paired
with accented laces. Black tones flow across the upper, balanced by subtle
white accents that bring the design together effortlessly.
